Individual Psychotherapy for Adults
Areas of Focus
Trauma & Complex PTSD
Trauma can shape how we experience safety, relationships, and our own bodies long after difficult experiences have passed. You may notice anxiety, emotional overwhelm, numbness, people-pleasing, or feeling stuck in repeating patterns.
As a trauma-informed and trauma-trained therapist, I support clients in gently processing trauma while building nervous system regulation and a stronger sense of internal safety. Our work focuses not only on understanding what happened, but helping your body and nervous system move toward healing.
Anxiety & Nervous System Regulation
Anxiety often shows up as constant worry, overthinking, tension, burnout, or feeling unable to fully rest. Together, we work to understand the underlying patterns driving anxiety while developing practical tools for regulation and resilience.
Therapy may include learning how to recognize nervous system states, building grounding skills, and creating sustainable ways to feel more present and steady in daily life.
Women’s Mental Health & Life Transitions
I support women navigating identity shifts, burnout, relationship changes, reproductive and body-related experiences, and the many transitions that arise across adulthood.
Our work often explores boundaries, self-worth, relational patterns, and reconnecting with personal needs and desires.
Relationships & Attachment
Many struggles show up most clearly in relationships — difficulty communicating, fear of conflict, patterns of disconnection, or feeling unseen.
Individual therapy can help you better understand attachment patterns, emotional responses, and relational dynamics so you can build more secure and fulfilling connections with others and yourself.
Sex Therapy & Relationship Diversity
I provide affirming sex therapy and support for clients exploring intimacy, sexuality, and relational identity.
This includes:
- Ethical non-monogamy and polyamory
- Communication and consent
- Desire and intimacy concerns
- Shame reduction and sexual self-understanding
All work is grounded in a nonjudgmental, affirming, and inclusive framework.
Therapeutic Approaches
My work integrates both insight-oriented and body-based therapies. Healing happens not only through talking, but through experiences that help the nervous system shift and integrate.
Approaches include:
- Relational and client-centered therapy
- Emotionally Focused Therapy
- Somatic therapy
- Brainspotting
- Somatic Experiencing–informed work
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Gestalt therapy
Rather than applying a single model, I tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals.
What Sessions May Look Like
Sessions may include conversation, emotional processing, mindfulness or somatic awareness, and gentle exploration of patterns that arise in relationships and daily life. Some sessions may feel reflective and insight-oriented, while others focus on grounding, regulation, or embodied processing.
There is no expectation to share everything immediately — therapy unfolds gradually, building safety and trust over time.
